The mosquito misting system is not a new technology for controlling mosquitoes because it has been around for many years. • Battery back up so the system will still work in the event of a power failure
• No nozzles that may have insecticide dripping from them

• An option to have the system shut down when it is raining

It is very easy to operate because all you have to do is set the timer, just as you do for you're the sprinkler for your lawn.

Insecticide used in a misting system

The insecticide that this misting system uses is called pyrethrum, which comes from the chrysanthemum flowers from Africa and Australia. It is really effective because it is one insecticide that mosquitoes cannot build up a resistance for. When you mix it with water it is clear and it does not leave a residue on any surfaces. It kills the insects on contact and creates a barrier that they cannot break through.
